Moving from state to state and throughout the Bahamas; her family would buy old houses, remodel, and flip them.
Not having a consistent place to call home presented its difficulties. On the bright side, she was able to learn from different cultures and design tastes.
In her teenage years, Lavinia realized she had her mind set on becoming an interior designer.
Helping clients fall in love with their homes is what inspires Lavinia day in and day out.
There is no job too big or too small for Lavinia. She is willing to do anything necessary to get the job done. Even if that means moving furniture around herself.
She moved to Germany at the age of 16. Once she finished high school, Lavinia went on to continue her studies at a very respectable design school in Köln, Germany.
While simultaneously having an internship at a high end design company, Blennemann.
During her time at Blennemann, Lavinia grew a strong foundation for interior design.
She would continue to work there for 8 more years until she moved back to the United States.
All in all she has been in business 14 years.
